Anyone who owns or uses a firearm must meet safe storage, display, transportation and handling requirements. These requirements are set out in the Storage, Display, Transportation and Handling of Firearms by individuals Regulations. All of these are described in this module.
Firearms owners and users should always assume that anyone untrained in the safe handling and use of firearms does not know how to handle firearms safely.
Serious incidents could occur from unauthorized access, especially where children are concerned.
To prevent this, always store, display, transport and handle firearms and ammunition in accordance with the regulations.
Remember, the law requires that all firearms must be unloaded except when in use.
