About Me
My name is Eric “Rico” Bouffard and I am an avid hunter and competitive shooter.
I am currently employed as a law enforcement officer and am enjoying my 14th year of service.
My exposure to firearms has been through both personal and professional endeavors.
On the personal side, I enjoy hunting and take part in the annual deer hunt. I also enjoy the sport of competitive shooting, more specifically I participate in 3 Gun competitions and have been an IDPA shooter for some time now.
On the professional side, as a law enforcement officer, I carry a firearm in the course of my duties, and, as such, must on a daily basis adhere to strict firearm safety protocols. I also have experience in the military, specifically the Canadian Army, with the different firearms commonly issued to soldiers in the combat arms.
Additionally, I am a member of the Canadian Tactical Officers Association and the Ohio Tactical Officer`s Association, which have enabled me to gain training in a few tactical disciplines, which require the use of a service pistol, a patrol carbine or a sniper rifle.
Over the last few years, I`ve been also certified as an armorer for various different firearms and have experience working on pistols, carbines, shotguns and rifles.
My course will provide you will all the tools required to be successful. What you need to bring to with you are a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, an open mind and your active participation.
As you can see, I bring a great deal of experience as an instructor and I hope you will find my class informative, but also enjoyable.
Looking forward to meeting you and delving into the wonderful world of firearm safety.
