My name is Bill Blackwell, I live in Port Elgin and have been teaching for over 39years. I have been on the Board of Directors of FSESO, its President and Executive manager. I have a very varied teaching experience both with firearms and in my work career with Bruce Power and Ontario Hydro. I have taught thousands of people in my lifetime and career as a trainer and I have used and handled firearms for over 56 years.

I have been teaching the Canadian Firearms courses for 25 years and the Ontario Hunter Education Program for 39years. I have been a Provincial Trainer training new instructors and doing course audits for more than 20 years in both programs. I run very extensive courses and deliver full value for the money you will spend for taking the courses and I can and will supply references on request.

My courses meet and exceed the requirements for training, I deliver full value for your course fee. I do not do courses to minimum requirements for hours required, people are well trained when they leave my courses and I have a 99% success rate for people taking their tests at the end of the course. I deliver courses based on my personal and teaching facility availability which means I do evenings from 6 to 10 pm and on weekends from 8:30am to 5pm. people wishing to take a course with me must pay the course fee up front before we will register them for the course.
