I teach both the Non-Restricted (Canadian Firearms Safety Course) and the Restricted (Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course) certification courses in Petawawa for residents of Renfrew County (Chalk River, Deep River, Mattawa, North Bay, Pembroke, Beachburg, Renfrew, and Arnprior) and surrounding areas. In order to receive your Possession & Acquisition License (PAL), successful completion of the CFSC/CRFSC is required. On request, I will teach private classes for businesses or private classes of up to 12 people. If Sunday is not a suitable day for you due to religious reasons, I'm more than happy to accommodate your needs. Youth who take their Canadian Firearms Safety Course with me, receive a 25% discount and receive the CFSC student manual at no additional cost. Whether you need your PAL for employment (such as with CBSA or armed security), hunting, participating in shooting sports, collecting, or even acquiring and preserving a family heirloom, I can assist and guide you through the process of obtaining your Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).

Both the written and practical exams for the CFSC and CRFSC courses are administered immediately after the classroom lesson. To progress from the CFSC (non-restricted course) to the CRFSC (restricted course), a minimum passing grade of 80% is required on both the written and practical exams. Similarly, the CRFSC course also requires a minimum of 80% on both exams to be considered successfully completed. My courses typically run from Saturday to Sunday; however, upon request, I can offer evening sessions during the week after 5 PM to accommodate your schedule.
