As Scarborough Firearms Safety Academy, we offer both non-restricted CFSC & restricted CRFSC courses for everyone interested in shooting sports, or those who require the PAL license for employment. Our Academy hosts small classes which allows us to provide all the mentoring you need, and time for questions & discussion with our friendly instructor who speaks English, Cantonese & Mandarin. Our main goal is to provide our students with detailed firearms knowledge, with strong emphasis on how to safely handle them. Our students will be leaving our classes feeling confident as PAL license holders, and future firearm owners!

I grew up in Hong Kong & moved to Canada to study at Western University. I am currently a full time insurance agent, and have been for over 25 years. As a result of my passion & years of experience with shooting sports, I became a licensed firearms instructor in 2017. My passion for this sport began when I was young as my father was licensed to own firearms back in HK & brought me to local ranges. After moving to Canada, my interest grew & I began exploring this sport even more. Over these 25 years, I have travelled to Africa & Argentina for hunting. I am hoping that through teaching the firearm safety course more people can share my passion & learn the importance of safe handling of firearms & become a responsible firearms owner.

I teach both non-restricted CFSC and restricted CRFSC courses on weekends at our Scarborough Firearms Safety Academy. Currently, we offer both courses in English, Mandarin & Cantonese. If English is not your first language, our combine Chinese & English courses are perfect for you as we explain the English terms for you in-depth, allowing you to fully understand & apply the knowledge. The CFSC teaching starts at 8am & ends approximately 6pm, which is then followed by a written & practical exam. The CRFSC course begins at 8am & ends approximately at 3pm & then followed by the written & practical exams. Our past students have really enjoyed our classes & we hope that you will too.
