Introduction
My name is Mark Rohlehr and I have been an Ontario Firearms Instructor for 25 years. I am also the CEO of Corporate Safety and Security Services, a security and safety consulting company specializing in Disaster Recovery, Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity.
About Me
Prior to becoming a provincial Firearms Instructor, my exposure to firearms training goes back to 1976. During my 8 years of military service, I qualified as a "Small Arms Weapons Instructor" with standard issue (NATO) firearms. Later, in 2001, I qualified as a Certified Firearms Instructor at the Smith & Wesson Academy in Mass. Since then, I have attended recertification courses every 3 years at the S&W Academy in order to maintain this certification. Since becoming an FSESO Firearms Instructor, I have been running the CFSC and CRFSC for groups of Law Enforcement students at Seneca College where I teach as a Professor in the School of Public Safety and Police Studies. I am a CSSA certified club level safety officer and a member of the Ajax Rod & Gun Club. As an active sports shooter, I participate in both IPSC and IDPA events. Also, I have been a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors since 2001.
About My Courses
I run the CFSC and CRFSC for members of the public from my training facility attached to Firearms Outlet canada in Ajax, ON. Additionally, I often assist other instructors as a second instructor/examiner when needed. Both the combined course and the stand-alone CFSC or CRFSC courses are scheduled based of demand. As an instructor, I draw on an extensive body of experience and knowledge when interacting with my students. I strive to ensure that each of them receive the very best level of instruction and encouragement that I can provide.
