I've served as a professional trainer (mostly IT) since the 1990s. In 2008 I picked up target shooting (competitive and otherwise) and haven't looked back. I've competed and officiated at club, provincial, national, and international events.

While the course material is extremely serious, I try to inject a little bit of fun into the mix. My classes are an inclusive space where everyone is meant to feel welcome, no matter your background of level of experience (people with no experience are my favourites because I don't have to train away existing bad habits!). With a mixture of presentation, discussion, stories, and practical exercises I get the material across to students in the way that works best for them. Exams are done with no pressure being applied by the examiner and with ample time to complete the exercises.
