Introduction

The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is designed to apply to the broadest spectrum of novice firearms users. The CFSC has a proven track record in the reduction of firearm-related incidents across Canada and is designed as an introductory firearms safety course intended for all new firearms users. Individuals wishing to obtain a Canadian Restricted Firearms Course (CRFSC) must also successfully pass the CFSC prior to enrolling in the CRFSC.

About Me

I live locally in Grey Highlands and grew up on a family farm outside of Village of Clarskburg. Over the past 20-years, I have been an avid hunter and fisherman who participates in a wide-variety of outdoor and shooting sports activities in the Georgian Bay area. I am an active member of my local sportsman's club, helping with a wide-variety of club driven activities and conservation initiatives in our local community. I am certified by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) to instruct the Ontario Hunters Education Program (OHEP). I am also a certified Range Safety Officer (RSO),Club Level Safety Course Instructor, and certified by the RCMP as a Firearms Verification Agent.

About My Courses

Certified to teach: * Canadian Firearms Safety Course - 8 hour length excluding lunch, breaks and testing time; maximum class size 12 students, and one Instructor. * Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course - 6 hour length excluding lunch, breaks and testing time; maximum class size 12 students, and one Instructor; and * Ontario Hunter Education Safety Course - 10 hour length excluding lunch and breaks.
