Hi there, my name is John Herd I am veteran law enforcement officer that started my career with the Canadian Border Services Agency where, among other specialty assignments, I instructed the CFSC and the CRFSC to CBSA agents. I left the CBSA to pursue a career in policing with the Toronto Police Service and then the Barrie Police Service. I am now retired and bring a wealth of practical firearms handling experience into the classroom. I has also been a hunter for over 30 years and am a knowledgeable instructor of the Ontario Hunter Education Program bringing my hunting experience to the classroom.

Courses are held at Cabela's in Barrie, the Georgian Bay Anglers and Hunters Club in Midland, as well as private courses throughout Central Ontario.
