Gunner served as a Police Officer for 20 years with a local Police Service. He was a full time Firearms Instructor and Use of Force Instructor, was the Team Leader for their Tactical Rescue Unit for 10 years. In 2004 he retired at the rank of Sergeant and started an International Training company,where he has taught firearms training to various industries, including Nuclear Sites, Armoured Car companies, Use of Force to CBSA and has been awarded contracts across Canada, the US, Middle East and Africa. He has been teaching the Firearms Safety Courses over 5 years. Gunner is a SIG Arms Instructor & Armourer, H&K Instructor & Armourer, Berretta Instructor & Armourer, and holds a Black Badge in IPSC. During his years as a Police Officer, Gunner was awarded the Medal of Bravery from the Governor General of Canada. Gunner has been instructing in firearms since 1988 and has a vast amount of experience that is evident in his instruction.
